It is recognized that students do their best work in school when they are placed in a grade level with other students of the same chronological age. The following table provides ASPV guidelines for placing students at the appropriate grade level. This table applies only for students in Elementary School (from Kinder 1 to 6th grade). Students in Middle School and High School are not placed by chronological age but by last grade level and an admissions assessment.
