Beach Cleanup

Students walked along the coast for two hours collecting waste and attracted the attention of both locals and tourists. Many questioned the motives behind the student’s actions, while others joined the group and began to pick up garbage as well. ASPV students organized a beach clean up to spread awareness of a garbage-free planet. All collected waste, which was stored in reused trash bags. Teachers also accompanied the community project, making sure people stayed on task. Once the walk was completed, all the garbage was deposited in recycling containers around the beach and most of the reused waste bags were stored for later use.

Service Day

The 'community arts' community service program at ASPV dedicated their time to helping our local library, Biblioteca Los Mangos, assisting them in any way needed such as scraping down tables, transporting wood, amongst other things in an effort to beautify our community.
